First Time Visitors and Guests

New to our church or coming as a guest? Joining in is easy. Just complete the Child Visitor Form online! We look forward to meeting you. First time parents/guardians are also welcome in our classes—just sign in as a visitor at one of our sign-in stations.

Finding Your Way Around

Parents/guardians are expected to accompany their children from age 2 to Gr. 6 to the designated check-in spot and sign them in. Parents must pick up and sign their children out from their classrooms immediately following service. Youth may sign themselves in and out.

Registration is a requirement for all children attending our Sunday School programs in order that we may provide the safest and best possible experience for your child.

Someone at the Yellow Check-in Table will help you set up a Kid Check account

Children Ages 2—Gr. 6 are currently enjoying the Gospel Project for Kids. Our preschool, younger, and older versions of the curriculum ensure that whole families can enjoy the Bible stories at the appropriate age levels. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.

Staff Expectations

McLaurin Baptist Church runs a volunteer-based Sunday school program. All volunteers must meet the standards of Plan to Protect, a policy/program that exists to protect our children and workers. Anyone 18 or older wanting to volunteer with children 0-18 years must submit an initial application form and have a current Criminal Record Check (RCMP) and Alberta Intervention Check (AB Family Services) before they begin volunteering. Those under 18 must complete a Youth Ministry Application.   All volunteers will attend a one hour Plan To Protect training session
